Write a Purchase Offer
Up until now, you’ve been sifting through the offers to determine which one matches your current and future objectives. Indeed, at this point, you can still make counter-offers until the Purchase Offer is agreed upon.
Purchase Offer contracts include the following information:
- Names of all parties involved in the transaction
- The rights and obligations of the parties involved
- Residential Purchase Agreement
- Contingencies
- Deposit amount (this further officiates the document as a binding Purchase Offer)
- The who, what, where, why and when of closing costs
- Escrow Closing date
- Specifically, when the buyer assumes possession of the property
- Offer expiration
- Arbitration Clause
- All parties’ signatures
This section is specific to California Realtors only.
