Many brokers like to place “sold” signs on properties as a means of advertising. However, a “sold” sign cannot be placed on a property prior to closing without the seller’s consent.

Currently, a licensee may place any of the following types of signs:

• Sold
• Sale Pending
• Contract Pending
• Under Contract
