Introduction to Disclosures
When drafting a lease agreement, there are several legal documents referred to as “Disclosures” that are required in order to protect all parties. Their purpose is to limit your potential exposure to errors and omissions.
This section will discuss the most common legal disclosures that are associated with a Residential Lease. Some disclosures are required with all leases, while others are optional and only required depending on the lease terms and situation.
